Today, Archery is a sport often associated with hunting and competition, used in sport from boys’ and girls’ clubs to the Olympic stage. Archery has survived thousands of years BC to today, in the face of gunpowder bullets to nuclear super-weapons. And, it doesn’t look like the bow and arrow will go out of style anytime soon either. The truth behind the matter is that even today people feel a certain need to get in touch with a primal method of survival, testing the very engrained makeup of the true hunt, man against nature. Archery history has its multi-fingered hands in former and present times.
