My neighbor just gave me permission to squirrel hunt on his property. The area I can hunt is about 2.5 acres. I am limited to a light poundage bow and a bb / pellet gun. One half of the area is very tall grass and the other half is thick trees and bushes that you can barely walk through. I have 2 spots right now one is a homemade blind on the grassy side. and the other spot is a tree stand about 6 feet high. I can only hunt weekdays between 4-7 and all day weekends. Its is in the middle of a neighborhood with about 12 houses. There is always squirrels here just not when im hunting what am i doing wrong. I am going to put a bait pile out with acorns and peanut butter at both stands i think. I have a call i use also. Can you guys give me some tips on hunting here please. also what is the minimum poundage for a bow to kill a squirrel.
