I have a PSE X Force compound bow, and I want to install a peep sight on the string. I have two questions: 1. Can I install the peep without a bow press? 2. If yes, how do I know the right spot to put it? I can’t imagine the peep being an easy item to move up and down the string, so I want to get it right the first time.

I got a compound bow for my birthday, its a 55 pound draw, and I’m pretty new to archery. I went out and shot as many arrows as I could for a couple days. My right collarbone began hurting soon afterwards (I’m right handed) and I’m trying to figure out if its a result of bad form or if ‘m just sore from using different muscles to shoot the bow.
