Call your local police department and ask. Rules vary in different places.
Call your state police or county sheriff they are the ones that handle that type of question. You never said what state you are in.
I don’t believe so since it is not a fire arm. As long as you are not shooting in a hunting area you should be fine. Contact your local game warden for more info.
As far as I know you shouldn’t need a license just to transport the bow. Check on rules for transport though. In most places a bow has to be unstrung or enclosed in a case to be legally transported in a vehicle.
NOPE. DONT NEED A LICENCE. ONLY WAY YOU DO IS IF YOU GO AND SHOOT IN A ARCHERY RANGE OR COMPATITION. (IF YOUR YOUNG) IF IN YOUR BACK YARD ER SOMTHIN, YOUR ALL GOOD. Y DO U THINK YOU CAN BUY LITTLE CHEAP CRAPPY BOWS FOR THE YOUNGINS.?
You dont need anything for a bow. Even felons can own bows, you have nothing to worry about.
No! Unless your in the woods hunting you don’t.
NO, No, no only if you Hunt with it.*
A friend of mine once walked from a tournament back to his hotel, about 2 miles away, with a strung bow in hand and a quiver full of arrows. He had a rather bad day at the tournament and just about had it, so he left in a huff, walked right in front the police station on the way and a few of the officers looked at him funny but that was about it. Then again this was in a small city, probably be a different story if that had happened in LA.
Put the bow in a case, unstrung and you’d be good to go. Aurora, or Sebastian Flute makes backpack to carry bows also.
