You don’t have to have a hunting license to fire a weapon at a shooting range, only if your actually hunting, or if you have a weapon in a “hunting zone” during a hunting season.

Shooting is not hunting, it’s shooting.
Walking in the forest with a loaded gun (camo or no camo) without a set up target and the other accoutrement of target shooting will likely be considered hunting by the game warden when he catches you.
Get some targets and make sure you have a good backstop that your firing will go into, like the base of a hill. Always check the entire area carefully for others. Never shoot wild shots.
No, not if you go to an indoor, or outdoor shooting range. Even in the woods, if you can legally shoot there, and you are not hunting game, you DO NOT need a hunting license.
you shouldnt need a hunting license for shooting just hunting, not sure about oregon but here you can shoot year round, but can only hunt during season
