fox hunting in Pa?

thinkGREEN asked:

Can I use a 12 gauge on fox and what are some tips on fox hunting? I plan on going out tomorrow because I don’t have nothin else to do. My friend is borrowing my bow so I can’t go archery.

Twelve gauge is going to tear up the fur pretty good, I would use a small caliber rifle. .22 or 22-250 at most. Otherwise what’s the point of hunting them?

Yeah you can 12ga. we use them in Wisconsin all the time and use anything from 00 buckshot to #4 buckshot you just might want to pattern you gun to see how it shoots and change the choke tube to get better patterns depending on how far you want to shoot.
