Sounds like you had a successful season. Congratulations. I actually killed my second doe this year today (one with a compound and one with a shotgun). Luckily our bow season doesn’t end until February so hopefully I can get a buck this year.
Not so good, with a combination of warm weather and a lot of corn still standing the deer had no reason to move before dark, so it was basically a good evening when I saw a few does right at dusk.
the corn still being standing contributed to lack of time to hunt anything else
Got about 5 or so squirrels. Ain’t had a chance to try for deer much b/c of my knee and when I was able to go out, I didn’t see anything. I still got mid-Jan to try my luck tho.
does it count if i killed the deer with my car??? just kidding…….haven’t bothered to get a hunting license in last 3 years…….only hunting i even do is on family land in Va when i visit relatives but i haven’t done that this year……
I got my elk. Haven’t had time to get my deer yet. (That’s the trouble with a 5 month private land season – it makes me lazy and keep putting it off. But now I’m in pigland – California, so maybe a change of focus??)

As for hunting I didn’t do anything this year. Plenty of free time but I didn’t do any hunting. Didn’t really have the money or ability to go out. I’m going next year for dove, javelina and fall whitetail hunt if I get picked (its a lottery) and hopefully coyote. They have been invading our area and I’m just wondering when I’ll get attacked.
I shoot for meat, not heads, got 4 doe so far.
my family was getting rid of all the bad animals. so i only shot a spike.

I didn’t get a deer this year. They pretty much disappeared before opening day then magically reappeared after the close.
Didn’t go for elk.
Got a few turkeys.
Still waiting to see some ducks and geese.
I ran out of time this year, didn’t get anything. Lots of hunters bagged their limits here, so it was a good season.

got a few geese and some doves but aside from that not a thing!!!
my dad got a 5 pt though. ohwell its meat thats all that matters
goose season is coming up though! oooo man!
not as well as in recent years due to my health.

Riddle of the day: Last year I got 23 whitetails with a .223, this year (so far) I have 12 all are legal kills. How is this so?
