It’s been over a decade since I owned a bow. Thinking of buying one off Ebay. I am right handed, use to hold the bow with left hand and the arrow rested on the right side. Is this called a right or left hand bow I had?

drawing the string with the right hand, the arrow should rest on the left side of the bow. So if it rests on the right, it’s a left hand bow
hi there
you need a right hand bow , the arrow rests on the left side of the riser, they have some good deals on ebay for bows, bought 3 there myself over the last couple of years, good luck.
If you hold the bow with your left hand you need a right handed bow. I too am right handed and I pull the string with my right. Thus I shoot a right handed bow.
You sound like a “goofy footed bowler”. Someone once called me that because I mix right and left handed things together. But if you’re gonna shoot with your rest on the right side of your bow, you need a left handed bow. I personally just went from a pse to a diamond bow. Both are spectacular in performance. The diamond has been getting great reviews among all I know who have used it.
lefty if the arrow layed on the right once you have drawen back the bow. But if your thinking about getting one not too exspensive go w/a PSC Tritan or go all out and get a Switchback very good bow.
