Is it legal or permited to take a hunting bow over the mexican border?

I bought a 55lb hunting bow in the usa and i wana take the bow to mexico is it ok or legal to take the bow over the border.

    Contact your local Mexican Consulate….they seem to be changing rules down there on a wim…..I know if you are caught with a firearm…you’ll face time in prison.
