I’m new to bow hunting. Never shot before in my life. I shot it a few times, but apparently I haven’t been shooting it correctly as what friends are telling me after I showed them what happen to me after a negative experience shooting my bow. I shot my compound with my arm fully extended and it really shows! The problem is now, is that I’m all shook up about it. How can I re-gain my confidence in shooting?

Im thinking about getting into bow hunting for deer. I already deer hunt with rifles though. I want a good bow that doesnt cost alot and is camo. Plus im not that strong for my age (15) so i need one thats not to hard to pull back but will still kill a deer from 30 yards.

I tested a couple of bows at a sporting goods store, I am probably going to get a 70 lb. bow. What is the farthest kill distance for a 70 lb. bow. I will be practicing with it for a year before I go deer hunting.
