What is a good starter compound bow, if I have to shop on a budget?

Michael asked:

I’m just starting in archery, but I know I’d prefer using a compound bow, if I’m on a budget what is a good bow for me to begin and learn on?

you could check the line of martin at academy sports or the line of bear at wal-mart you can’t beat them for the price and if you like the one you have no need to upgrade for a few years. You could always check your local bow shop for a used bow also a good choice

Look at the PSE Nova. It’s an inexpensive bow but good quality. Not the fastest bow out there but very dependable. Get good sights and a good rest, quiver, stabilizer etc. and if you decide to upgrade later you can just switch them over to the new bow.
