What’s the best bow for under $400 dollars?

bigdd42276 asked:

Guys, I’m 33 years old and my buddies have finally got my interest with bow hunting. So, I’m trying to make an educated decision on how to spend my money. I’ve seen a lot of bows and a lot of different prices. So, what’s the best option? #1. Buying a used bow, if so what bows would you guys recommend? #2 Buying a new bow..I know new bows are expensive, plus all the add-ons. I don’t want to spend over $400. I’d really like to spend less than that if possible and still get a nice bow.
So, I’m hoping someone out there can help me in my decision. If you have any opinions or experience please pass it along.

Never buy a used bow. You can never tell what they’ve been through, what condition the strings in, etc etc. If you’re trying to spend under 400, look for a complete set up. I’d recommend :

Redhead Kronik, just went on sale (available at Bass Pro)
    Diamond Razor Edge (by bowtech)
    PSE Archery Stinger

Make sure you get the complete set, and make sure you buy it FROM a shop and not online so you can get all set up and tuned.
